Mobile home fire
Two people were injured and a dog was killed in a mobile home blaze Wednesday in North Las Vegas, according to Clark County fire officials.
The blaze, which broke out about 11:38 a.m. on the 4900 block of Stanley Avenue, had fully engulfed the home by the time firefighters had arrived, said Scott Allison, public information officer for the Clark County Fire Department.
Allison said the cause of the fire is unknown and police are still investigating it.
Two people were injured in the fire and most likely transported to UMC, he said. One person had burn injuries and another suffered from smoke inhalation, he said.
A medium-sized pit bull died in the blaze, Allison said.
