Composite sketch

Metro Police released a composite sketch this morning of a man who reportedly robbed and sexually assaulted a woman in May north of downtown Las Vegas.

Police said the man tricked the woman so she would open the door of her apartment, near Main Street and Owens Avenue, during the evening of May 30. The man forced his way inside the apartment, then sexually assaulted, robbed and kidnapped the woman, investigators said.

The man is described as black or Hispanic in his late 30s or early 40s, about 6-feet tall and 150 pounds with a shaved head. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and had a medium or deep voice pitch, police said.

Investigators said the man might be a part of or frequent the homeless community in the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Metro Police Sexual Assault Section at 828-3421, or Crime Stoppers or Secret Witness at 385-5555 to remain anonymous.

  1. Looks like one of our fine Illegals living in Las Vegas.

  2. I think he looks a little like this guy:

  3. Black or Hispanic???

    ??confused??

  4. Half breed? BlackSpanic?

That sketch really narrows it down though.

Assault was a month and a half ago?
White T-shirt, blue jeans -- wonder if he still has that stuff on?
That outfit description should really bring this down to a narrow focus for sure.

    Well done Metro. Donut break.

  5. I wonder why it takes 45 days to draw and release a sketch. My young child draws much better and usually can finish within an hour.

  6. May? Why are they just now looking for him? This is the third time in several weeks they have issued a composite sketch of someone who committed a crime several months prior.

Why do they do that? Why don't they issue the information immediately?

  7. Who in the hell looks like that!
