Letter to the editor:
Dowd went too far with personal attacks
Tuesday, July 7, 2009 | 2:04 a.m.
I read Maureen Dowd’s Sunday column in the Las Vegas Sun (“If you had any doubt that Sarah Palin is ‘nutty’ …”) with the thought that Ms. Dowd had taken more than her usual dose of hate pills. The column was full of venomous comments about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. I may not have thought Sarah Palin was the best choice for vice president, but writing a column with personal attacks in most every paragraph is despicable.
Ms. Dowd was able to put Sarah Palin in the same sentence with South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford (the confessed womanizer) by saying, “Palin/Sanford in 2012, with the slogan: Save time — we’re already in Crazy Town.”
Please, Ms. Dowd, give me a break. I have my reservations about Sarah Palin, but she has had enough personal attacks on her and her family. It is obvious Ms. Dowd cannot “give it a rest.” Enough is enough.

Maureen Dowd >>>>> Another socialist loser! The new york times YEP thats just where she belongs. I WONDER HOW MANY MORE READERS AND MONEY THEY LOST AGAIN LAST MONTH. LOL
For Sarah Palin so loves Alaska that she's sacrificing her valuable TITLE.
See:

Ex- sport columist, Cut-and-Paste stenographer Commentator Maureen Dowd really needs to get some new material.
Her columns on Sarah keep repeating the same old tired lines and Sunday's was no different.
But what else would you expect the NY Times to pay for but for an ex-sports columnist and ex-metropolitan reporter
She began her career in 1974 as an editorial assistant for The Washington Star, where she later became a sports columnist and metropolitan reporter when the Star closed in 1981.
No idea what she did in 1982.
Ms. Dowd joined The New York Times as a metropolitan reporter in 1983.
Dowd calling Palin nutty? That's a laugh.
Now, if only we could get some of the blogers to understand how to debate these threads without the personal attacks on fellow blogers to support their ill understanding of a thread.
Untill then, it will be an all-out brawl with anyone who may be of another opinion, right or wrong this is still the most dynamic learning tool around, with up to the minute infusion of perspectives.
As for the issue or the thread above, comments in and of them self are never enough to paint the untold story, only the main players or time will tell.
To be sure, keep posted to read any new story developements which will bring light on to the obtruse, sheapperded mind control, hack views being put up for entertainment.

I'll never happen. It's their view or the highway. Personal attacks on individuals is a childish game they play.
Future - you have an issue with Dowd for being an ex-spot columnist? How about your little Sarah being a sportscaster on an Alaskan TV channel?
Make me laugh dude.

How right you are.

Went to far? Just YESTERDAY, Palin was quoted as saying:
"I'm certainly not a quitter, I'm a fighter."
Could anyone blame Dowd for wondering about the mental health of this poor woman?
Maureen Dowd's mother has a lot in common with Gov Palin. They both didn't abort their autisitic children.
Trailer Trash Palin is the one who preaches hate. Palin is a christian Bigot that pushes her views on everyone. Everyone should be forced to live by her faililies pure christian values while the daughter is the town whore and she steals from the govt.
Palin is always a victim. Palin spreads hate and it has caught up with her. Glad the stupid white trash witch is gone.
"Maureen Dowd's mother has a lot in common with Gov Palin. They both didn't abort their autisitic children".
I'm not sure of the meaning behind this post....
Its a comment on Dowd's brain activity.
Autistic children/adults are known to have IQ's above genius level. If it was supposed to be a negative comment on Dowd's brain activity, then it went horribly wrong!!
