Leave climate alone; it will change at will

Paul Krugman’s column in Tuesday’s Las Vegas Sun, “Politics over the planet,” demonstrates that he should not give up his day job as an economist. It also demonstrates that he is by no means a climate change expert.
He did not demonstrate why he thinks human beings are responsible for his global warming theory. And he did not give us reason to believe that this legislation will have any effect on climate change cycles.
The Earth’s climate has been changing since the beginning of time without the help of humans. It changes every day — sometimes very dramatically.

Natural climate changes have taken place in the past, every 130000 yrs or so, but what has changed now, has been achieved during the past 50 years. Albiet it is only 0.7degsC, this is enough to start glaciers and icesheets across the world to melt extremely fast. Even on the N American continent, glaciers have receded several miles in just this short time, and in only the past 10 to 15 years, the melt has increased beyond all belief. Dont you know this, or are you just blind to these reports.
The Democratic-controlled House, narrowly passed sweeping legislation for the nation's first limits on pollution linked to global warming and aims to usher in more costly energy.
The vote was 219-212, capping months of negotiations and days of intense bargaining among Democrats.
The "Cap and Trade" law has a stated goal of reducing American man-made Greenhouse gases 17 percent by 2017 and 83 percent by 2020.
But more disconcerting is that reducing greenhouse gases is not actually the real goal.
The real goal to control the weather to a congressionally mandated annualized temperature.
Not surprisingly Congress does not specify what that annualized temperature is to be set at.
Do we want it to be set 57.2 degrees Fahrenheit?
Can we control it +/- 0.1 degree? Are Americans that smart?
One of the biggest compromises involved the near total elimination of an administration plan to sell pollution permits and raise more than $600 billion over a decade -- money to finance continuation of a middle class tax cut.
About 85 percent of the permits are to be given away rather than sold, a concession to energy companies and their allies in the House -- and even that is uncertain to survive in the Senate.
Congress and Obama claim to be able to be able to accomplish this by putting the allowances on only 15% of the greenhouse emitters.
This essentially mean those 15% to be sold-out must stop emitting by 2017.
"Clean" coal and nuclear power are left off the table by Reps. Henry Waxman and Ed Markey.
The Global Warming legislation cost of trillions of dollars is just on a "static" Congressional Budget Office scoring base. This reflects just the initial sale of carbon permit by the Federal government to selected carbon generators.
But once the hedge fund managers George Soros, John Paulson, and Philip Falcone get into a secondary carbon permit market and start the securitization of carbon emission allowance permit (a the cap causing a liquidity crises) then who know what you might pay to buy and run a new SUV or cool your house.
So you fools still don't believe that world climate is changing? Maybe you numb skulls should take a simple course in biology, or ecology and learn some basic science before you mouth off about how it cannot possibly be happening because of man.
Clearly those who oppose doing anything really don't care about future generations...your children and grandchildren will curse you in the future for your ignorance, arrogance and simple mental blindness. Many of these morons are more interested in money, yes money, than anything else. Its always about money in this country whenever it comes to anything of importance, i.e. health care, space exploration, cancer research, research for nonpolluting energy sources, education, etc.
These greedy individuals are devoted to GOD DOLLAR ALMIGHTY... They will willingly forgo any prospect of improving our environment or life if it costs money, praying and hoping that they will have another dollar to take with them into the 'Hereafter'. The Pharaohs of Egypt tried to take it with them and left it all behind....
So many are blinded by greed that the only green they can see is 'dollar green'. They would denude the world of forests and kill off all of the animals if it meant another dollar in their bank accounts. Clearly Harry Truman said it best many years ago when he stated, "Given they chance they will make it Concrete America from coast to coast."
Bernie Madoff's are everywhere in the world today not just on Wall Street. He didn't care about his clients any more than these morons care about your future, that of your children and grandchildren ... They will end up living in a horribly polluted, hungry and thirsty world that the current morons could care not about...

...but in reality, the truth is much more like this anonymous letter writer says. This is from Wikipedia...

...No one disputes that the earth's temperatures have risen in the past 100 years, that is a matter of scientific record. What is disputed is whether the rise in temperatures is man-made, ie. the result of increased greenhouse gases, like CO2, Methane, and Water Vapor, or the result of other natural forces, like the Sun.

Your final mention of Bernie Madoff. Its not possible that he is the ONLY one who was running this pyramid skam for years. There are for sure dozens more out there, calling themselves investment bankers, brokers, financial experts.
It is time to get into these companies and see just what they are doing.

For Gods sake forget the little iceage of the Mediaeval Times, this has nothing to do with the "global climate changes" that occured with fairly regular intervals of 130 thousand years since about 650 thousand years ago. Sorry, but I still believe it to be man made, otherwise how could greenhouse gases increase from 285ppm to almost 450ppm in just over 100 years. It has never happened so quickly before, or are we just unlucky to be living on the planet when sun spots, or planet tilt, or planet wobble starts to happen. Still, think about this, GHG increase by 165ppm in 100 years, within another 100 years they could increase by another 165ppm to over 600ppm. Then our childrens childrens childrens will be living in hell, oceans rising by more than 20 meters, temperatures in your area increasing by 15 to 20 degs F, most days of the year, no rainfall at all. Hundreds of millions of refugees on the move north to find somewhere to live, as many as 3 billion people with little or no water, as many as 100 million people dying every year. OK dont believe its man made. If its man made, then perhaps we can halt the trend, but if its a natural cycle out of control, then God help the planet.

There are many real experts who say don't worry about the CO2 levels but I guess they don't go to the "We're All Going To DIE" branch of the "Climate Change Panic Church". So uddeboda, where did you get your PHD in Climate Science? John Christy has one and he says don't lose any sleep over the BS you keep spouting. There are other experts who agree with him but since they don't prescribe to your religion they must be infidels.

Having a Phd in climate science doesnt mean that that person is correct in what he says or believes. I dont have a Phd, but I read journals, I travel to see the consequences of climate change. Its not rocket science to see and understand that something is happening and happening very quick, for every year the glaciers here in Europe are receding so rapidly, they could disappear within 30 yrs
Climate change as a function of man made C0-2 is theory. Fact, the pollution from transportation, and industry is measurable. Fact, the pollution particles have many environmentally destructive charachteristics. Fact, we need to reduce the pollutants. Fact, we need to build more efficient buildings and transportation.
