North Las Vegas police seek man in pizza delivery homicide

The North Las Vegas Police Department on Thursday released a sketch of a man wanted in connection with the death of a pizza delivery driver this past weekend.

North Las Vegas Police Department detectives are asking for the public's help in finding "a person of interest" in the death of pizza deliveryman John Norris on Saturday night.

The suspect was seen in the area before the attack on Norris in the 5800 block of Rose Sage Street. He is described as a black man between 17 and 25 years old, 5-foot-10, heavy set and wearing a hooded sweatshirt at the time.

Pizza Hut and another local business are offering cash rewards up to $22,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case. This amount includes $2,000 from Crime Stoppers.

Anyone with information about the crime is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 385-5555. Cash rewards up to $2,000 are offered to anonymous persons who phone the hot line with information that leads an the arrest and indictment.
