North Las Vegas police find shooting victim

Shortly before midnight Saturday, North Las Vegas Police said they found a 19-year-old man who had been shot several times.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said.

The identity of the man has not been released. Officers found the man about 11:58 p.m. Saturday at Owens Avenue and 22nd Street.

Robbery may have been the motive, police said. The man may have been robbed near Owens Avenue and McDaniel Street before police found him.

Anyone with information about the shooting can call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555. Anyone with information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case may be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
