Wanted fugitive faces 17 charges after pursuit

After North Las Vegas police officers saw a gray 2005 Mazda pickup truck make an improper right turn and almost hit a pedestrian, they launched a pursuit that lasted about half a mile.
Turns out, when police gave chase into an apartment complex in the 4200 block of Commerce Avenue, they collared 23-year-old Adam Isaacson of Las Vegas, who was wanted on three outstanding felony warrants and who was driving a stolen vehicle with stolen license plates that belonged to a 1999 Ford pickup truck, police said.
Along the chase route, police said Isaacson caused plenty of property damage to other vehicles, landscaping and a fire hydrant.
Isaacson fled the pickup truck after crashing it into parked cars behind businesses located in the 400 block of West Craig Road.
Police watched as the man scrambled over a block wall into the apartment complex. Witnesses told police they saw Isaacson break into an apartment, then he later fled on a bicycle.
Officers set up a perimeter and police caught the suspect on a stolen bicycle.
Isaacson was arrested on 17 charges, including one felony count each of evading a police officer, burglary, possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of stolen property. The 13 misdemeanor charges were all traffic-related offenses that officers witnessed during the pursuit. In total, Isaacson faces four felony counts and 13 misdemeanors, in addition to the outstanding felony warrants.
Isaacson is already a convicted felon for attempted possession of a controlled substance and possession of a stolen vehicle.
