Police search for North Las Vegas street robbers
Wed, Jan 7, 2009 (10:25 a.m.)
Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying two men who committed two street robberies that occurred in the early morning hours of Jan. 1 in North Las Vegas.
Both robberies occurred in the area of Craig Creek Avenue and Revere Street, according to the North Las Vegas Police Department.
The robbers were armed with a handgun and were described by victims as being black males in their 20s, police said.
The robbers fled the scene in a green four-door vehicle with dark-tinted windows and a tan front bumper, police said.
Officers are asking of anyone who has seen that vehicle or who can identify the suspects or who has any information related to the crimes, to call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or the North Las Vegas Police Department Detective Bureau at 702-633-9111.
Cash rewards, up to $2,000 are offered to anonymous persons who telephone the Crime Stoppers hotline with information that leads to the arrest or indictment of those responsible for felony offenses.
