Little League signups around the valley

Green Valley Little League will hold sign ups throughout January.
Players — whether they played last season or not — must bring copies of three proofs of residence, such as driver's license, one utility bill and a car registration, as well as the player's birth certificate. Divisions are available for players ages 5 and older. Opening Day is March 21.
Signups will be 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Jan. 10 at Frozen Ropes, 6667 Schuster St., near Sunset Road and Valley View Boulevard in Las Vegas, and 6-8 p.m. Jan. 13 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Jan. 24 at Estes McDoniel Elementary School, 1831 Fox Ridge Drive, Henderson.

Henderson Little League
Henderson Little League has four registration dates set for this month at the Valley View Recreation Center at Harris Street and Basic Road.
Signups will be held 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 10, 5-9 p.m. Jan. 14, 5-9 p.m. Jan. 21, and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 24.
The league is open to boys and girls ages 5 to 14 with age determined as of April 30.
The league's boundaries are east of Gibson Road and south of Russell Road in east Henderson. T-ball costs $100. Other divisions cost $125.
Silverado Little League
Silverado Little League and Silverado West Little League are having signups for the 2009 seasons 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan 10 and 24 at Frozen Ropes, 6667 Schuster St., off Valley View Boulevard and Sunset Blvd. Signups will also take place 6-8 p.m. Jan. 14 at Frozen Ropes.
T-ball costs $90 per player. Rookies through senior divisions costs $125 per player.
Parents must bring: the player's original birth certificate; a medical release form available at SilveraoLL.org; and two proofs of resisdency, such as current driver's license and utility bill.
Signups were scheduled to take place at Silverado Ranch Park. It was moved due to park vandalism.
Western Little League
Western Little League will have signups every Tuesday and Saturday in January for the upcoming spring season.
The league's boundaries are west of Rancho Drive, north of Washington Avenue, south of Alexander Road.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, the league will be at three locations -- Sports Authority on Lake Mead and Rainbow Boulevards, Albertsons on Cheyenne Avenue and Rampart Boulevard, and 7-Eleven on Cheyenne Avenue and Fort Apache Road.
The league is open to boys and girls ages 5 to 18. The registration fee is $125.
