Antoinette Wentworth of Namibia, in Africa, stands, with Metro Police officers on duty during Tribute Palooza, the New Year’s Eve party at the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas. Wentworth, a Fulbright Scholar studying in the United States, was enjoying her first trip to the city. “It’s a lot more plastic than I expected,” she said.
