A bank agent inspecting a foreclosed house near West Charleston Boulevard and Cimarron Avenue discovered a suspicious odor and white powder all over the interior of the residence, Metro Police said.

The agent called police to the repossessed house at 8000 S. Festivity Circle about 12:57 p.m. Wednesday, Officer Ramon Denby said.

Officers called in Metro Police's Armor Unit, whose members suited up and went inside the house to take samples, Denby said.

AT this time police believe the powder is some type of drugs, since the repossessed home has been empty for several months and vagrants may have gone into the residence to experiment with drugs, Denby said.

  1. That's not drug residue, that's ceiling chaulk from the transients climbing into the attic to rip out all the wall and ceiling wiring.
