UPDATED STORY: Investigators: Circus Circus death likely accidental
Metro Police are investigating the death of a 21-year-old Seattle, Wash., man who apparently fell out of an eighth-floor balcony window at Circus Circus Hotel-Casino about 3 a.m. Thursday.
The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified him as Jeffrey S. Kamota but there is no cause or manner of death listed yet, a coroner's office spokeswoman said.
Officer said that friends of the man told police that as he leaned out the window to smoke, he fell about 3:06 a.m.
Police said the death appears to be accidental and alcohol may have been a factor in the death.
