CARSON CITY -- Gov. Jim Gibbons has agreed to turn over six e-mails sought by the Reno Gazette-Journal.
District Judge James Russell ruled the governor does not have to publicly disclose 98 other e-mail messages that contained government communications. The judge had delayed an order for the governor to turn over the six messages to permit an appeal by Gibbons.
James E. Spencer, chief of staff for the state attorney general, who represented Gibbons, said he filed a motion with the judge to permit the release of the six messages.
The six include a March 21 e-mail for re-appointment of members of the Athletic Commission; a March 26 directive to Capitol Police; a May 22 decision regarding the open meeting law; an April 22 directive to the Nevada Military Blue Ribbon Committee; a Jan 18 note to the Council of Economic Advisors; and an April 22 message that constitutes a “decision made after deliberation.”
The newspaper has not indicated whether it will appeal the Russell decision to the Nevada Supreme Court to seek the release of the 98 other messages.

Yep. Make Obama take the blame.
I wish we could see his emails to Monte Miller:
http://desertbeacon.blogspot.com/2006/03...
He's the guy who Gibbons wants to have chair a green energy non-profit that will bond on the backs of tax payers for their tomfoolery.
Or, why can't we get emails related to his special security and the cost and what they had to witness while on duty? That should be entertaining!
Six e-mails out of a hundred? What is wrong with this picture? Since when, should a judge be censoring what the Governor did on a STATE computer.
