Metro Police said today they are investigating a North Las Vegas pastor who was arrested Tuesday in connection with having lewd contact with a minor.

Ladislao "Constantino" Morales, 56, was arrested on two counts of lewdness with a minor under 14 years of age and four counts of open and gross lewdness, Officer Barbara Morgan said.

Morales is a pastor at Centro Evangelistico Alfa y Omega Church, located near Eastern and Owens avenues in North Las Vegas, but he lives in Las Vegas.

He was taken to the Clark County Detention Center, where he is being held on $24,000 bail, according to detention center records.

According to an arrest report, Morales kissed, massaged and was massaged by a girl from the time she was 10 until she was 14 years old. Detectives learned that Morales would pick up the girl and take her to do paperwork for the church. Then he would touch her or have her touch him at several locations around town.

The girl did not tell anyone about the incidents that took place at a private home and at a motel until another girl said Morales had done the same things to her.

In addition, police learned that Morales is an illegal immigrant and uses two dates of birth, March 11, 1963 and July 27, 1953.

The Metro Police Sexual Assault Section is asking anyone with information or who knows any other potential victims to call law enforcement. Detectives can be reached at (702) 828-3421. Those preferring to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers or Secret Witness at (702) 385-5555.
