Metro Police have arrested a man suspected in the theft and arson of a $100,000 sports car from the Red Rock hotel and casino.

Police arrested 25-year-old Phillip Ryan Morley.

Morley was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on third-degree arson, auto burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit a crime and on fugitive warrants for arson and escaping probation from Washington state.

Metro's Auto Theft Section sought a man seen on resort videotapes who drove a yellow Porsche 911 out of a parking garage about 3:30 a.m. Aug. 6.

The car was found burned in a desert area in the northwest Las Vegas Valley, police said. It was valued at more than $100,000, police said.
