Two Kardashians came to Las Vegas to promote new TV series yesterday, but ended up talking about babies more than anything else.

When Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian stepped onto the red carpet at Wet Republic they were bombarded with questions about the eldest sister’s unexpected pregnancy.

Kourtney Kardashian revealed last week that she was expecting her first child. Yet the news came only after it had been made public through other sources.

“It wasn’t supposed to come out when it did,” the mother-to-be said. “I think it was leaked.”

She said many of her friends and family members heard about her pregnancy from tabloids instead of directly from her.

“I didn’t even get to share it with so many of my friends and … family members that I would have liked to tell myself,” she relented. “I told, like, two friends and my whole immediate family. … But that happens I guess.”

Yet she herself is partly to blame since wasn’t exactly forthright with the announcement. Rather than telling friends, family and fans right away, The 30-year-old kept the pregnancy a relative secret until the rumor mill outed her last week.

“We wanted to do the press for our show and be focused on the show not be bombarded by these questions,” she explained.

Yet bombarded they were, and likely will continue to be. The vast majority of talk on yesterday’s red carpet revolved around the incoming child.

When finally asked about, “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami,” which premiered Sunday night on E!, Kourtney Kardashian admitted the inaugural season didn’t go anything like what she had planned.

“I think it definitely took an unexpected turn,” she said, noting that she discovered she was pregnant while the cameras were rolling.

The series was filmed during what the eldest Kardashian sister referred to as “a crazy few months” earlier this year.

“We definitely went to Miami single ready to have fun,” she said. “We were crazy, partying.”

“It was my first time I had been single in, like, nine years,” she said. “We had a blast.”

Yet it wasn’t all bottle service and beaches for the sisters: Crews followed the trials and tribulations as they both navigated life on their own and prepared to open their second retail store.

The two already owned and operated Dash, a clothing and accessories boutique in L.A.

Despite the current economic difficulties, Kourtney Kardashian has no regrets regarding opening the Florida venture.

“It was very successful and it gives us a reason now to go back to Miami which is always fun because we love Miami,” she said. “Now we feel like we aren’t just going to party; we have a store, business to do.”

And the show required a lot of work, as well.

Khloe Kardashian said production “was about three months, and we taped seven days a week, 16 to 18 hours a day.”

“Shooting our main titles and photo shoots and stuff was exhausting,” her sister added, noting the schedule became increasingly difficult as her pregnancy progressed.

While shooting for the new show wrapped in June, production has just begun for the upcoming season of their other, already-established reality series.

“We are starting to film season four of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’,” the eldest sister said. “We have already filmed a little bit … and we start fully filming in September.”

She wasn’t sure if her child will be part of the series after he or she is born.

“It’s definitely part of ‘Miami’,” she said, but she wasn’t sure if the baby would ever appear on the small screen.

In fact, it remains to be seen if she herself will participate in future seasons of either show.

“I don’t know, I really don’t,” she said. “We are taking it one step at a time, but we are doing season four (of “Keeping up with the Kardashians”) for sure.”

“That’s as far as we know,” she said.

The sex of her unborn child is also a mystery.

“I could already find out but I haven’t yet,” she said. “I feel like you can’t go back so I just want to make sure I want to know.”

She isn’t hoping for a girl more than a boy or vice versa. Instead, she said, “I think either one is a blessing.”

The petite brunette said she has been feeling good, more or less, but did experience some rough patches early on.

“You will see the actual stuff on the show,” she said as her younger sister stood close by and joked about morning sickness.

Kourtney Kardashian is currently five months along and is due in December. While she declined to say precisely when she discovered she was pregnant, the small-screen star admitted that she knew she was carrying when she was last in Las Vegas.

All three pillars of the Kardashian sister trifecta were at Pure on June 26 to celebrate the youngest of the three’s 25th birthday.

“I didn’t go in the club,” Kourtney Kardashian said, acknowledging that she had been rather sick that night. “I did the red carpet and dinner and left.”

The pregnancy was unplanned and unexpected.

“It wasn’t something I expected or planned but I feel like God has a plan for everyone, and it was just was so meant to be,” Kourtney said.

She doesn’t know whether or not she will marry to on-again/off-again boyfriend and baby daddy Scott Disick.

“I haven’t decided yet,” she shrugged nonchalantly. “I have so much to plan and think about for the baby that I will worry about myself later.”

Her sister noted that Disick proposes on a daily basis so it’s not his lack of interest that’s stopping them from getting to the altar.

Though he was in Las Vegas this weekend – and was at the same pool the mother of his unborn child was at the day before – he did not join her at Wet Republic yesterday.

The sisters’ brother, Rob Kardashian, was also a no-show despite being in town this weekend.

“My brother went home this morning,” Khloe Kardashian said. “He got a little tired and drunk.”

His absence didn’t bother her, though, because the entire Kardashian clan had plans to get together later that night, regardless.

“We are all going to meet tonight at my mom’s and have a premiere party,” she said.

She and her sister recently endured a whirlwind publicity tour.

“We were in Chicago this morning, Milwaukee and Chicago yesterday,” Kourtney Kardashian said yesterday. “It’s a little crazy.”

“This is our last stop,” Khloe added, smiling in obvious relief.

Despite being anxious to get home to L.A, the sisters love both Las Vegas and the limelight – so much so that they may very will combine the two for an upcoming season of their show.

“Maybe Khloe and I will take another city, maybe Vegas,” Kourtney Kardashian said. “We would love to open a store in Vegas.”
