An Overton man is in critical condition after his pickup truck left the road and he was ejected, according to a report from Metro.
James Frehner, 21, was driving a 2004 GMC truck north of Overton on Mormon Mesa Road, east of Cottonwood Avenue, at about 10:45 p.m. Friday, detective Richard Tusko says, when he lost control and slid sideways.
The truck left the roadway and began rolling on the desert terrain, at which point Frehner was ejected, the report says.
Frehner was transported to University Medical Center via Flight for Life with life-threatening injuries, the report says.
The accident remains under investigation.
