Fatal crash

A woman killed when she was struck by a pickup truck late Saturday night as she tried to cross six lanes of traffic on Lake Mead Boulevard in Las Vegas has been identified as 24-year-old Angela Reyna, whose address is unknown, the Clark County Coroner's Office said.

The cause of Reyna's death came from several blunt force traumatic injuries due to a motor vehicle accident, a spokeswoman for the coroner's office said today.

The woman was pronounced dead by medical personnel, Metro Police said. The accident occurred at 10:04 p.m. Saturday on Lake Mead Boulevard west of Nellis Boulevard and the pickup truck driver has not been found, police said.

Officers said evidence at the scene indicated a possible dark Ford pickup truck traveling east on Lake Mead Boulevard in the right lane of three travel lanes struck the woman.

The woman was crossing Lake Mead Boulevard from south to north outside of any crosswalk when she entered the path of the truck, police said. The collision is under investigation.

Police are asking anyone with information about the pickup truck or driver to call Secret Witness at (702) 385-5555 or Detective T. Hughes at (702) 828-3538.
