FLASHPOINT:

Governor’s poorly chosen words

As anyone who has been divorced knows, things can be said that are later regretted. But if you are The Man Formerly Known as Governor, you probably should not have said things in legal documents because you surely will regret them — no wonder he and his legal team wanted them sealed. The one line he surely regrets: “... the Governor is an at-will servant of a notoriously fickle employer who is currently in no mood for forgiveness or tolerance.” So that’s how he talks about the people? And he is saying voters won’t forgive and forget? He also accuses the first lady of trying to prolong the proceeding into the election cycle and “punish her husband for his chaste attention to another woman prior to separation.” Really. It says that.
