NLV Airport to get $7.8 million in federal stimulus money

The County’s Department of Aviation will receive $7.8 million in federal stimulus funds for use at North Las Vegas Airport.

The funds will be used to relocate power lines near the airport.

The U.S. Department Transportation announced today that Carson Airport will receive $9 million to rehabilitate a runway and taxiway as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds coming to Nevada.
