The campaign of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama said doors will open two-and-a-half hours before his appearance Wednesday in Las Vegas.

Obama is scheduled to appear at a program set to begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Cashman Field, 850 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Doors will open at 2:30 p.m.

  1. No signs or banners, only the ones they pass out. Talk about limiting free speech and controlling the message. No Barbara Steisand to sing for the "no admission" price like he did for the elite in Hollywood at $23,500 a plate dinner last night. Here he will be a champion of the people and gun rights, on his site he is now selling faith based campaign paraphernalia, but in private we are all a bunch of dumb clingers. Will the real Obama take a stand on anything. How about trying to keep the troops in Iraq until the election to aid his campaign. Read here in the NYPOST.

  2. The NY Post, neiman? You might as well have cited Drudge or NewsMax.

    It's a Rupert Murdoch tool.

BTW, where did McSame get the bulk of HIS funding? And then how many "town hall" appearances did HE make?

  3. Obama the Messiah is Coming!!!

All Hail the Savior of the World!!!!

Where do we bow and pray that he will shower us with his unlimited wisdom?

We, bitter folks who cling to guns and religion, need him to guide us to the prommise land.

    Hope and Change have arrived!!!!!!

His 3 years as a part-time US senator and his 7 years as a state senator have made him into a god!

  4. When the Junior Senator gets here, will someone please ask him some easy questions.

The person and party who started the damage to the American economy were the economic policies signed into law in 1999 by the Democrat Bill Clinton with his signing of the Financial Services Modernization Act.

Will the media ask Obama "what fundamentals of the economy are broken"? How is Obama going to fix an economy if he believes that the Fundamentals of the American economy are broken?

When the fundamentals of an economy are broken, then there is NO Economy. (economics 101) Obama has shown he knows absolutely nothing about a countries economy. These economic policies that Obama says are broken, are the economic policies signed into law in 1999 by the Democrat, Bill Clinton with his signing of the Financial Services Modernization Act. that removed too many restrictions governing the economy. Keep smiling".

  5. Let's talk about the wisdom and experience of John McCain.

McCain spokesperson Carly Fiorina said neither McCain or Palin could run a company, yet Warren Buffet said either Obama or Hillary easily could.

And McCain said on Fox News (Oct 21, 2007) that being a governor for short period of time, or mayor for a short period of time, was not a good enough qualification to be President. So much for the wisdom of that Sarah Palin choice. Or was that another flip-flop?

On Monday, it wasn't a 3am call, but a Wall Street wake-up call of a crisis hitting the heart of American capitalism, and the McCain immediate response a day later: let's set up a commission. The candidate with all the "experience" wants to solve a crisis by doing the oldest Washington trick in the book, getting a commission together of Washington Insiders to talk, discuss, and study the problem.

But in the face of skyrocketing foreclosures, Wall Street failures, out-of-control fuel prices, McCain says the economy is fundamently strong. He just doesn't get it.

  6. Thanks for calling to attention the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Financial Services Modernization Act, authored by Republican Phill Gramm. Phill Gramm is now an economic advisor to McCain. Gramm, we recall, said anyone complaining about today's economy is a whiner.

Since that law went into effect in 1999, Congress went into permanent recess. That's what is being suggested. The veto-proof Republican Congress has been in control since then, and who from that party stood up to correct this legislation? No one. It's the law the lobbyists for the financial institutions were happy to write, and happy to pay the legislators to ignore.

John McCain has spent decades in Washington supporting financial institutions, not the customers of those institutions.

The notion that the Republicans are in no way responsible for this mess, or for fixing it, are quaint.

  7. The social programs that Obama has advocated will bankrupt this country. Who is going to pay for all this stuff? This guy is a product of the Democratic Chicago machine..enough said.

  8. Is it asking too much of the "Messiah" Obama to answer some very simple questions ?? Katie Couric (CBS News) a die hard democrat herself was absolutely flustered with Obama the other night in an interview. He was asked very simple direct questions and could not answer a single one directly. All we get from the Messiah is rhetoric and "beating around the BUSH" !

  9. I would love to see the great "Obama" explain himself on certain things about his campaign aircraft. Obama aspires to seek the highest office in the land and be Commander-In-Chief of "our" military. Then why did he order the removcal of the US Flags on the tail of the aircraft?? And he has taken the nerve to have his aircraft referred to as "O FORCE ONE". The "Messiah" has a serious ego problem and do we need this in Washington ?

  10. If you like the way things are going then vote for McCain. I guaranteed that he will make George Bush look like a saint. The Republicans have ruined this country and refuse to stand up and take responsibility for their failed policies. Four more years of this mess is ridiculous. McCain and his old cronies don't care about the common man or woman. Say and do anything to get elected that the maverick story.

  11. So far this year, the RNC has outraised the DNC $92 million to $42 million.

  12. The sub-prime give a loan to anything that moves started under pressure from Bill Clinton to give mortgages to minorities that did not qualify for normal loans.

  13. The sub-prime give a loan to anything that moves started under pressure from Bill Clinton to give mortgages to minorities that did not qualify for normal loans.

  14. No, chippersql, that is NOT "enough said". Who is going to pay for the mess BushCo has gotten this country into?

eagledrivr, try getting news from real sources instead of Drudge. But please feel free to offer up a citation for your "facts".

Jim, get off Clinton's c&ck already. He's been out of office almost eight years. But perhaps you can explain a clip of Bush circa 2003 (don't know if it's before or after "Mission Accomplished") that was played on Michael Weiner's show (that's Michael Savage for the great unwashed LOL) I think on Monday. Funny how it's not available on his site (and you can't search for anything either).

Anyway, it seems Bush was screeching about how EVERYONE should be able to own a home. Interesting .... wasn't it right after that that the whole mortgage mess was born?

  15. I here Obama, Barney Frank, Pelosi, Reid and other Washington democrats were giving out loans to Moose in Alaska to purchase $1 million dollar igloos! Aren't they Obama's buddies.

Obama is always talking about lobbyist donating to John McCain. What a hypocrite, he hasn't even released who is on his campaign staff yet. Why? Lots of lobbyists. He hasn't told the truth about getting donations from Freddie and Fannie yet, has he? Why? Got big, big, bucks to hide the truth.

Scary, scary scary, even before Halloween.

  16. Yeah, well, rschreff, I "here" [sic] that right wing trolls can't seem to defend their candidate. All they can do is spout childish nonsense about the other candidate.

BTW, Einstein; it's HEAR, not "here".
