Metro-reported auto thefts

Auto thefts reported in Metro's jurisdiction have been on the decline for two years. Through the end of July, 7,000 vehicles had been stolen — down nearly one-third from the same period last year. This map shows the change in thefts by police beat in June/July 2008 compared with June/July 2007.
