Traffic alert: Flamingo, Decatur snarled after crash

A two-vehicle crash in the eastbound lanes of Flamingo Road at Decatur Boulevard sent four people to the hospital this afternoon, Metro Police said.

The eastbound lanes of Flamingo were shut down after the crash.

As paramedics arrived to transport the four crash victims, westbound traffic on Flamingo also came to a standstill shortly after 4 p.m.

Police asked the public to avoid the intersection if possible for the next few hours.
