Metro Police are asking the public for help in identifying and finding a suspect who walked into a bank in the 2200 block of Rampart Boulevard at about 3 p.m. Thursday, waited until he was the only customer and handed a teller a note.

The man said to the teller, "Gimme the money in the till," police said.

After the teller handed him cash, the man fled, police said.

He is described as having a goatee that appeared to be drawn with black marker, had a large script-style "F" on his cap and may have been involved in other bank robberies in the Las Vegas Valley.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Metro's robbery section at 828-3591.

Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555. A cash reward may be available to anyone providing information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect.
