I doubt Gondolier Numero Uno Sheldon Adelson . . .

I doubt Gondolier Numero Uno Sheldon Adelson is his usual sunny self these days. Las Vegas Sands stock has lost more than half its value in the past year. He has his hand in national politics through Freedom’s Watch, but his GOP friends look poised to take a bath in November. And on Thursday the state Supreme Court threw out his three ballot questions — two that would have helped cut funding from his hated convention authority and another that would have forced any initiative tax-hikers to get two-thirds of the vote. And they were thrown out on a technicality that easily could have been avoided and his minions appeared to have the requisite signatures. That has to hurt. Well, at least he still has his governor. For now.
