Fire at Land Rover dealership under investigation

Thu, Sep 4, 2008 (12:04 p.m.)

An early-morning fire at a Land Rover dealership that took 26 firefighters more than an hour to knock down is under investigation, according to a fire department official.

Clark County firefighters discovered smoke and flames about 2:10 a.m. today at the dealership at 5255 W. Sahara Ave., said Scott Allison of the Clark County Fire Department.

The fire burned two single-wide trailers parked in the back lot of the dealership, Allison said.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is unknown and it is under investigation, Allison said.
