Hispanics love Barack Obama. Really. If you don’t believe it, he has a Hispanic Leadership Advisory Committee. If you have a leadership committee, you know any concerns about Hispanics’ supporting the first black nominee are moot, right? And look at the names: National Association of Hispanic Publications Foundation Chairman Edmundo Escobedo Sr., Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto, Assemblyman Mo Denis, state Sen. Bob Coffin, Democratic Party First Vice Chairwoman Theresa Benitez-Thompson, attorney Vito De La Cruz, University of Nevada, Reno Director of Latino Research Emma Sepulveda and Culinary Local 226 President Geoconda Arguello Kline. Why that’s almost all the Hispanics in the state!
