Letter to the editor:

Democrats lack right kind of ‘experience’

Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008 | 2:05 a.m.

Let’s look at who will be training whom in our presidential-vice presidential race.

Scenario 1. The Democrats win: We have an experienced vice president training an inexperienced president.

Scenario 2. The Republicans win: We have an experienced president training a semiexperienced vice president.

“Experience” is relative, depending on your political affiliation and your ability to understand “executive (decision-making) experience” as opposed to “political experience.”

One might point out that the Obama-Biden relationship will parallel the much-maligned Bush-Cheney relationship.

Careful what you wish for, Democrats: It may come back to “Biden” you!

Discussion: 1 comment so far…

  1. Unfortunately the Democrats have picked a losing candidate for president. Obama will not win this election. He is in the same category as George McGovern...unpopular and unbelievable.

Obama plays the race card well continually noting he is African-American, yet completely ignoring that he is half-white. He has never said I am black, but I am also white! He mentions his white mother and white grandparents, but never says he is half white. I guess being white does not count for much these days. Too bad he discredits half of his racial heritage and genetics to garner the black vote.
