Bass will participate in PTA program
John Bass Elementary School will again be participating in the National PTA Reflections Program.
The program encourages students to show their artistic abilities by participating in six arts areas: literature, musical composition, photography, visual arts, dance choreography and film production.
The theme for this year is "Wow!"
The deadline for entries is Dec. 12.

Faith Lutheran Gala
Faith Lutheran Junior and Senior High School will host its 2008 Scholarship Endowment Gala at the Bellagio at 6 p.m. on Nov. 15.
The evening will include a four-course gourmet dinner and entertainment by award-winning comedic presidential impersonator and author John Morgan.
Master of ceremonies will be KLAS Channel 8 evening TV news anchor Dave Courvoisier.
Individual tickets are $250, and sponsorships are available for between $2,500 and $4,000.
Proceeds will benefit the Faith Lutheran Scholarship Endowment Fund, which has raised almost $1.4 million over seven years.
