  1. I hope the Clark County School District is on alert so they can bus children to the rally for McCain to fill seats........

Who pays for the bus ride anyway? Oh, maybe the RNC.

  2. will obama be any more effective than bush?
macain has the jawbone to do the job.
You certainly can't say that george bush was an ineffective president,
when 9/11 occurred he jumped in, got rid of hussien, invaded iraq and afghanistan,
threatened north korea, iran, stood up to russia,
and when the crash occurred he jumped in doing everything possible to rescue america from even the smell of weapons of mass destruction and the financial meltdown.

  3. Obama doesn't have the leadership skill nor does he have the courage and experience under fire to protect and defend the country against a terrorist attack.

It would be a shame for the country to have such a monopoly of power if the senate, the house of representatives AND the white house gets taken by all liberal Democrats. The country needs McCain if for nothing else but to balance out the overwhelming control of one party in the Congress. We need what the founding fathers set up to be "balance of power." Obama is still a green and inexperienced kid -- he'll have another chance when he gets more maturity. The country won't be able to recover from one-party rule for too long...not the way they've abused power in recent years. If the Democrats win the white house, hang onto your wallets, folks!

  4. "You certainly can't say that george bush was an ineffective president"

Sure, but what about horrible or hateful or liar or embarrassment or condescending or unsophisticated or arrogant or inarticulate "C" student? Humm? I bet I can say those things. But let's just leave it at the worst president in our history. I can definitely say that.

Either candidate will be a massive improvement.

  5. What a joke.
So your argument that we cannot have one party in control of the White House and Congress is based on a flawed premise. What about when the republicans had it all their way for 6 years?
Also I love how you collapse liberal and democrat together. Just shows how partisan and neo conservative you are.
Additionally, if you are using the pathetic "experience" argument, how do you square the circle with Palin. She has the same amount of experience as Barack, and even republicans question her experience level for the presidency. After all, McCain is in his seventies, and a multiple cancer survivor.
Also the founding fathers didn't warn against one party rule, they warned against factions. Back in Washington's day there were no parties. It took the second presidency to introduce a rough concept of parties, ie Federalist v Anti-federalists.

  6. Oh yeah and as for Bush II, he wasn't a very good doer.
What about those 7 minutes he wasted reading to elementary school kids and staring off in blank space during 9/11?
While I do commend his attempt to tackle Afghanistan, he botched it badly. He put minimal ground troops to go after a person with a $25 million bounty on his head. He also then took his eye off the Taliban ball and went after Saddam.
Why again did we go into Iraq? Answer me that, because I do remember we went in there for WMDs. Unfortunately we found 0 WMDs. Why couldn't we have waited it out with the UN and got their support?
And the whole Iraq War, what a cluster....! Again minimal troops, minimal funding, minimal attention to the ground war. Combined with 3 years of contractor waste and stay the course mentality. How long has it been since "Mission Accomplished"?
Yeah he's a doer, but an ineffectual one. Thank Buddha January 20 is coming soon.
    ps,
Great idea btw to cut taxes in the middle of a war too.

  7. Red: we went to war with Saddam because the Chinese need secure petroleum supplies and we are in hock to them up to your eyeballs. W, operating under Cheney's strings, was merely carrying out Daddy Bush's long-term arrangement with the Chinese. Sorry, but that's how politics and war operate at the international level. Start wondering who will be pulling Obama's strings because he never has been his own man.

  8. I'm really hoping McCain will bring Michele Bachmann with him so she can explain how her premise that "not all cultures are equal" squares with America's "all men are created equal" theme. She must not be one of us.

McCain surely hangs with some questionable people. I hope he does not share the anti-American views of his close associates.

  9. Al-Qaida-linked Web site backs McCain as president
