Metro Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who robbed a bank near West Sahara Avenue and Durango Drive today at about 10 a.m.

The man handed a teller a "demand note," police said. When the teller opened the drawer, the man leaned over the counter and grabbed cash, police said.

The man left the bank heading in an unknown direction.

Metro Police detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Metro Police robbery section at 828-3591, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555. A cash reward may be available to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
