Mascots of competing teams make an odd couple as the Roman warrior and the lady of freedom pair up to watch their “athletes” perform in the Housekeeping Olympics last month. Caesar’s Palace Centurion Jose DeGado, left, and New York-New York’s Miss Liberty Zenaida Bailey, a housekeeper for 11 years, cheered their teams in the 28th annual event, sponsored by the Las Vegas chapter of the International Executive Housekeepers Association and held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
