Henderson deaths

Minnie Brown
Minnie D. Brown, 85, of Henderson, died Oct. 19.
The lifelong resident was born April 27, 1923, in Las Vegas. She was a retired cosmetology electrologist.
Brown is survived by her sons Robert L. Guy of Henderson and Chuck Guy of San Diego; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 30 at Palm Mortuary-Henderson, 800 S. Boulder Highway.
Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary-Henderson.
Jeffery Ihle
Jeffery Allan Ihle, 48, of Macon, Mo., died Oct. 14.
Ihle was born Feb. 18, 1960, in Tucson. He had worked for the Clark County School District and was a Henderson resident for about 15 years before moving to Macon in the past month.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra Gomez; stepfather, Peter Gomez of Macon; sister, Melinda Mata and husband, Paul, of Henderson; nieces Annica Mata and Raissa Mata, both of Henderson; and grandniece, Andrea Danise of Henderson.
Arrangements were handled by Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon.
Jeanette McDonnell
Jeanette C. McDonnell, 89, of Las Vegas, died Oct. 17.
The 53-year resident was born May 16, 1919, in Meriden, Conn. She was a homemaker.
McDonnell is survived by her son, Michael McDonnell of Las Vegas; daughter, Valerie Kelly of Henderson; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family requests that donations be made to Creekside Hospice of Las Vegas, 650-7669 or www.creeksidehospice.net.
A visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 25 at Palm Mortuary-Eastern, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., with a graveside service to follow.

Edward Newnham
Edward A. Newnham, 78, of Henderson, died Oct. 12.
The longtime resident was born Oct. 19, 1929, in Alberta, Canada. He was a retired federal government communications workers and a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War.
Newnham is survived by his brother, Roy Newnham of Redcliff, Alberta, Canada.
Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary-Henderson.
