Letter to the editor:
GOP contradicts years of its rhetoric
Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008 | 2:01 a.m.
Now Republicans are saying that to give back to working families more of their own tax money is a socialist giveaway.
I always thought this concept was a part of the Republicans’ ideology. Are they now saying they had been lying all along?

McCain supports socialist policies as well. He just doesn't call them that. Socialism in the context of the current election is employed as a scare tactic, like "communist" or "terrorist" or "arab" or "muslim" or...well...anything except "black", which is conveniently repackaged as "ACORN".

Complicated tax codes benefit the rich...who else can afford someone to figure out how to save them money on taxes but the rich?
Tariffs, sales, and payroll taxes all benefit the rich. The rich will get theres, so the cost of government doesnt matter.
Regulations often impose huge burdens on small companies, Big companies have legions of lawyers to sort through the mess, what do they care?
Corporate taxes? Who cares, so long as we make 6% profit, raise prices and cut wages!
New results from the most accurate pollster from the 2004 election. http://www.ibdeditorials.com/Polls.aspx?...
40% of the workers, don't pay income taxes on their labor .... how can you say they're just getting their money back. They never paid taxes.
Obama will add 101 million to the welfare rolls in a scheme he refers to as Tax Cuts for the middle class. They aren't paying federal income taxes now, but will get refunds.... sounds like welfare to me

I can't wait until the liberal-overweighted LLMM polling tightens up right before 11/4. The "pollsters" of the left will need cover.
