Letter to the editor:
Vote, but take attack ads with grain of salt
Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008 | 2:02 a.m.
Nov. 4 is Election Day and, I hope, the end of all the ads degrading opponents.
Each candidate claims he has passed such and such a bill; however, they forget to give credit to fellow senators or representatives who voted also.
How can a potential president promise anything? He would need the Congress behind him 80 percent.
I’ve already voted by absentee ballot and urge all registered voters to get out and vote. If you don’t vote, you have no reason to complain about who is in office.
