Authorities announced this morning they have issued multiple search and arrest warrants as part of a long-term organized crime probe in the Las Vegas Valley.

The search and arrest warrants were served today by members of local law enforcement agencies in conjunction with federal authorities, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

The actions today were the results of an investigation that began more than three years ago into organized criminal activity, police said. No more details were available this morning because of "operational security," police said.

Additional information is expected to be announced this afternoon, police said.
