Metro Police said today they have made another arrest of a person of interest in the investigation stemming from the abduction of 6-year-old Cole Puffinburger, this time a Las Vegas resident.

Police arrested 48-year-old Jose Lopez-Buelna while serving a search warrant at a Las Vegas residence on Friday.

Lopez-Buelna was arrested for possessing a firearm by a prohibited person, police said. They did not release details on Lopez-Buelna's connection to the case due to the ongoing investigation.

Two other people linked to the investigation were arrested over the weekend.

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said Monday that a 42-year-old woman, Terri Leavy, was taken into custody by Fontana, Calif., police on Sunday. Leavy is believed to be the companion of 51-year-old Fred Tinnemeyer, the maternal grandfather of Cole Puffinburger.

Leavy was wanted on an outstanding federal material witness warrant.
