Wranglers announce 2008-09 roster

The Las Vegas Wranglers' roster is officially set for their season opener tonight against the Alaska Aces in Anchorage at 8:15 p.m.
The Wranglers kept 19 players and released goalie Bryan Bridges as well as rookie defenseman Mark Lutz.
The defense is composed of Brandon Straub, Jim Jorgensen, Michael Beynon, Gerard Miller, Bret Tyler, Jason Dest and Mike Madill. The forwards feature Tim Spencer, Mick Lawrence, Matt McKnight, Tyler Mosienko, Mike Hamilton, Adam Miller, Chris Ferraro, Peter Ferraro, Brandon Kaleniecki, Jimmy Kilpatrick and Chris Neiszner. Goalie John DeCaro will be joined by an emergency back-up goalie in Alaska this weekend.
Defenseman Brandon Straub and forward Matt Beaudoin were called up to the American Hockey League.
The Wranglers will kick off their home season against the Ontario Reign on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the Orleans Arena.
