Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a convenience store on Oct. 11, 2008.

Metro Police said today they are asking for the public's help in identifying and finding a man who robbed a convenience store in the northwest Las Vegas Valley this past weekend.

The man entered the store at about 11:45 a.m. Saturday at Alexander Road and Rainbow Boulevard pretending to be a customer, police said. He then walked up to the counter, pulled out a large silver revolver, put it in the clerk's face and said, "Give me the money or I will kill you," police said.

The man took an undisclosed amount of money and fled westbound through the parking lot and over a block wall.

Metro Police robbery detectives are urging anyone with information to call the robbery section at 828-3591 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555. A cash reward may be available to the person providing information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
