Summerlin deaths

Marijan Pericich

Marijan R. Pericich, 86, of Las Vegas, died Oct. 3.

He was born Dec. 7, 1921, in Croatia. Pericich was a commercial fishing chief diesel engineer and U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Pericich of Las Vegas; daughter, Susan Amalfitano of San Pedro, Calif.; and son, Thomas Pericich of Portland.

Services were held Oct. at Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne.

Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne.

Fernando Tolentino

Fernando B. Tolentino, 89, of Las Vegas, died Oct. 1.

The 29-year resident was born April 19, 1919, in Apalit, Pampanga, the Philippines. He was a retired hotel maintenance engineer and a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II.

Tolentino is survived by his wife, Josefina Tolentino of Las Vegas; daughters Corazon Angeles and Teresita Cruz, both of the Philippines, and Carmela May of Las Vegas; son, Serafin Tolentino of Las Vegas; sister, Macaria Tolentino of the Philippines; brother, Teodoro Tolentino of the Philippines; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family requests that donations be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89128, or 228-8311.

Services were held Oct. 6 at Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne and Oct. 7 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne.

Frank Wischmeyer

Frank H. Wischmeyer, 61, of Las Vegas, died Oct. 1.

The 10-year resident was born April 19, 1947, in Alma, Mich. He was an electrical construction estimator.

Wischmeyer is survived by his wife, Linda Wischmeyer of Las Vegas; daughters Charity Burrell and husband, Armando of Menifee, Calif., and Melanie McGibney and husband, Robert, of Henderson; son, Thomas Wischemeyer and wife, Jeanne, of Troy, Mo.; mother, Myrna Wischmeyer of St. Louis, Mich.; sister, Sheila Appelgreen and husband, Tom, of Clare, Mich.; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Duane Wischmeyer.

The family requests that donations be made to Opportunity Village, 259-3700 or OpportunityVillage.org.

Services were held Oct. 5 at Palm Mortuary-Northwest.

Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne.
