Boulder City High School senior, Margot Potter, tracks her ball mid-flight as it sailed towards the middle of the course Monday at Legacy Golf Course.

Boulder City Eagles girls' golf coach Regina Quintero has no doubt her team is ready for the 3A Southern League tournament on Oct. 16.

"Everyone is playing really well right now. The younger girls are starting to step up and help out," she said.

The Eagles will try to finish the regular season with another win in a league match Oct. 9 at CasaBlanca Golf Club in Mesquite.

Seniors Ashley Vince and Margot Potter each shot 17-over-par 88 Oct. 2 to lead Boulder City to a five-stroke win in at the par-71 The Palms Golf Club in Mesquite.

The Eagles finished with team score of 373 while, while Virgin Valley shot a 379 to finish second and Faith Lutheran was third at 391.

Faith Lutheran's Ashley Lacher tied Vince and Potter for medalist honors.

The Eagles were coming off a 198-261 win against Foothill on Sept. 30, which gave Boulder City a 2-1 record against 4A teams.
