Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008 | 6:30 p.m.
The presidential debates aren't the only debates you can watch on TV. Local candidates have been facing off on the issues in a series of debates on "Face to Face," which is hosted by Sun political columnist Jon Ralston on Las Vegas ONE, Cox Cable Channel 19. The "Face to Face" debates will continue through the Nov. 4 election.
Here are events coming up in the next two weeks, according to Dana Gentry, "Face to Face" executive producer:
• Tonight, a prime-time special will begin at 10 p.m., featuring Democrat Jill Derby, who is running in the 2nd Congressional District race. Her opponent, incumbent Republican Dean Heller, has not committed. Also, two high-level presidential campaign surrogates will discuss how their candidate did in tonight's presidential debate.

Yes, where are the Commission Candidates? Knee Jerk Scroggings vs. Valiant Mr. Sisolak that has to run against two people. Brown/Weber who both decided to run as full-time Commission Candidates after Mr. Hosea announced his intentions. Everybody needs a laugh where is Collins vs. Hosea? Oh, I guess it is a family shown and Collins will come in Halloween drag. But yet Collins will not debate on the issues!
