Campaign will leave only Palin standing

The Democrats and their surrogates keep on deceiving themselves about the popularity of Sarah Palin, who is adored by a vast number of Americans.
Over half a million voted in a Drudge poll that asked who won the vice presidential debate. The results: 70 to 28 in favor of Palin.
Almost 70 million tuned into the debate Thursday evening. Most watched because of Palin, not because of Joe Biden. Congress’ approval ratings hover at a dismal 10 percent. Barack Obama, Biden and John McCain are in Congress. Do these three somehow transcend those ratings? I think not.
In the coming weeks, Obama will come under scathing attacks about his past associates. Biden’s insane gaffes will be played to the hilt. McCain’s temper and age will resound repeatedly.
These attacks will turn off the American people like never before. Their only choice: a soccer mom governor with an 80 percent approval rating whom they relate to, a person far removed from the corrupt stench of Washington. If you think this is impossible, think again.

A vast number? Hardly the majority at this point. Please define "vast."

Oh, and yes, it's normal to start a sentence with a capital letter.
Even my GOP friends don't like, much less adore, Palin. They're embarrassed by her. And some of my Dem friends who were actually leaning toward McCain, quickly changed their minds after he picked Palin as his running mate.
Palin is straight up scary. She wants to make abortion illegal, even in the case of rape and incest. What kind of feminist, much less a woman, would take such a stand? After having some man (or even father/uncle/other family relationship) force himself on you, now you have to carry that baby to term. And probably not get any assistance from the father, who would hopefully be in jail (but also realistically isn't). Not to mention an incest baby will more than likely have several health problems that would put a huge financial burden on the mom.

Oooo, not to mention that Palin made rape victims in Wasilla pay for their rape kits, until the Alaskan legislature banned such practices.

Palin was very specific about how she would vote on the topic and how she felt personally (religious reasons). But never said anything in case of rape.
What are you talking about? It's been all over the news. That is her position. Plain and simple. Not to mention the whole rape kit controversy. Rebut me and I'll back down. Just throwing out phrases like that mean nothing. And trust me she has said plenty about rape. Disprove me with her own words. I DARE YOU.

Learn some facts, son, before you start throwing around the phrase "spin."

Obama was the only state senator to vote against a bill that would given human legal rights to babies born from botched abortions and he support late term abortions.
Those are very extreme pro-abortion beliefs.
As I've said elsewhere, I'm a registered Dem but was not going to vote for Obama. My choices were to write in Hillary, vote for McCain or none of the above. Some might have said I was leaning toward McCain.
When McCain picked Palin for his running-mate I decided to vote for Obama even though I think he is nothing more than a fraud or puppet. However, the risk that Palin might become POTUS was enough to make me find even Obama preferable to anything else.
Although Palin toned down the faith rheotoric (sp?) in the debate (and I think she did a good job overall), I still do not find the thought of her being POTUS acceptable.

the rape stuff did not appear to be a quote, but i am not saying you are wrong.
I think the rape part is foggy at best.
I based my earlier post on an interview i saw her do with charlie gibson, but maybe i am wrong on this. she ain't being real clear about it thats for sure.
