Motorcyclist in critical condition after Las Vegas accident
Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008 | 8:36 a.m.
A 41-year-old man is in critical condition after suffering injuries in a motorcycle crash early this morning in the 4500 block of South Dean Martin Avenue, according to Las Vegas Metro police.
Terry Bargy, Las Vegas, was driving his 1987 Harley Davidson motorcycle at 4:25 a.m. today north on Dean Martin Avenue when the accident occurred, police said.
Officers said that for unknown reasons, the motorcycle drifted to the right, jumped the east curb and continued north. It then struck a chain link fence, ejecting Bargy.
Bargy was transported to University Medical Center, where he was admitted in critical condition, officers said.
Police said it appears that his inability to make a left turn and keep in the travel lane are the reasons for the accident, which is still being investigated.
Officers are asking any witnesses to the accident to call Secret Witness at 383-5555 or Detective William Redfairn at 828-3128.

Although the facts have not been released it sounds like another drunk driver. Enough's enough people stop killing yourselves and others and get a damn cab!
being a biker myself i agree with you Lenny about taking a cab. but knowing terry, he was not drunk but on his way to work. also, unless there was something wrong with his bike, this accident- should be truly investigated - i have ridden next to him, and on the back of a bike with him. he is truly a safe rider. i hope that if someone out there knows something they will come forward and let the police know - in the meantime please pray for his recovery
Lenny I understand you. I am an avid supporter of M.A.D.D, however I must tell you Terry was NOT drinking and driving. Terry was on his way in to work for God's sake. I can almost guarantee that there is more to this story and it SHOULD be investigated further. I agree with Edie and pray that if anyone out there knows ANYTHING that they come forward even if it is through the anonymous line.In the mean time please pray for Terry, he is a great guy and could use your prayers as he fights for his life.
I hope your friend/loved one has a speedy and full recovery, Danyelle.
Sorry for jumping to conclusions. There's just so many examples of that type of behavior in this town, it's crazy.
Edie, I pray your friend pulls through and the truth comes out about what really happened.
