Metro Police are asking the public's help in identifying a man who attempted to rob a business Monday in the 1800 block of East Charleston Boulevard.
The man, described as 5-foot-10, with a medium build and between 25 to 40 years old, entered the business and approached an employee, demanding money, police said.
The employee attempted to walk away and the man pushed the employee against a wall, police said. The employee then opened the money drawer and the suspect saw that the drawer was empty, police said. The man then walked out the door.
The man was described as wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and was clean shaven and bald, police said.
Detectives from Metro's robbery section asked anyone with information on the man to call 828-3591. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
