Florence Colhopp
Florence J. Colhopp, 89, of Boulder City, died Nov. 22.
She was born in Dec. 23, 1918, in Dayton, Ohio. She was a longtime waitress and once served Howard Hughes at the Railroad Pass. She waitressed at many hotels on The Strip. She married Harry Mulligan and later Johnny Colhopp in 1959.
Colhopp is survived by her sons David Mulligan of Boulder City and Don Mulligan of Las Vegas; stepdaughter, DeeAnn Vanhatten; granddaughter, Donna Bell of Las Vegas; grandson, Robert Mulligan of Reno; great-grandson, Randy Wever of Germany; and great-granddaughter, Stevie Guier.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands and granddaughter Barbara Mulligan.
A remembrance was held Nov. 24 at the Senior Center of Boulder City.
Arrangements were handled by Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial.
Maurice Snodgrass
Maurice C. Snodgrass, 90, of Boulder City, died Nov. 23.
The 28-year resident was born Feb. 26, 1918, in Hannibal, Mo., to Clark and Anna Snodgrass in a home his father built. He was an electrician for 63 years and was a member, past president and secretary of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local 350 of Hannibal.
Snodgrass is survived by his daughter, Gail Motley of Boulder City; and grandchildren Kristian and Kimberly Motley of Boulder City.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte; and son, Ralph Snodgrass.
Burial will be at Akers Chapel Cemetery in Hull, Ill.
