A man struck by a pickup truck while crouching in a westbound lane of Tropicana Avenue last week has been identified as 36-year-old Robert Steven Balash Jr., of Las Vegas, the Clark County coroner's office said.
Law enforcement officials had to close the westbound lanes of Tropicana Avenue underneath U.S. 95 after the crash. Investigators said Balash was struck Wednesday by a blue pickup truck while in the roadway.
The crash is still under investigation.
