Perfect weather for enjoying outdoor activities
Fri, Nov 21, 2008 (8:06 a.m.)
Today and through this weekend enjoy outdoor activities, weather forecasters say, because by Thanksgiving Day major changes in the Las Vegas Valley's outlook are expected.
Daytime highs are expected to reach 72 degrees today with lows around 47 degrees and no winds. A canopy of high clouds will stream across the valley from the Pacific Ocean through Saturday.
Temperatures will remain in the low to mid 70s for Saturday, Sunday, Monday and then by Tuesday a blast of wintery weather arrives.
While the National Weather Service in Las Vegas said this November could be the warmest on record, the Thanksgiving weekend is going to bring a chance of valley rains, mountain snows. And instead of low to mid 60s, which are average highs for this time of year, daytime temps could struggle to make it into the 60s.
So before the end of November arrives, enjoy the unusually warm weather.
