Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two people who robbed the Wings Restaurant in North Las Vegas.
North Las Vegas Police are looking for an armed woman and a man who entered a restaurant this past weekend and stole about $100 in cash. Police today released video surveillance footage of the robbery.
Authorities said the two entered Wings Restaurant, 3011 West Lake Mead Blvd., at about 8 p.m. Sunday. The woman then placed a silver semi-automatic handgun on the counter and pointed it at the clerk, police said.
The woman ordered the clerk to open the cash register and the man walked around the counter and stole about $100 in cash, police said.
The woman then ordered the clerk and a cook to get down on the floor, police said. The man asked about the safe, but when he learned the clerk couldn't open it, the pair ran out of the restaurant. Police said they ran east on Lake Mead.
The woman is described as 5-foot-5, weighing 165 pounds with red hair, police said.
The man is described as 6-foot-3, weighing 175 pounds and wearing a black beanie, police said.
Anyone with information about the robbers is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555. A cash reward of up to $2,000 may be available for anyone who provides information leading to an arrest.
