Paper turkeys take in the bullets in Boulder City

Paper turkeys were shot more than 218 times Tuesday and Wednesday at the Boulder City Recreation Center for the Annual Turkey Shoot.
Top finishers in each of the seven categories won $20, courtesy of the Boulder Dam Credit Union.
The winners were:
First and second grade: Christian Long, 46 points
Third and fourth grade: Nicholas Bangle, 52 points
Fifth and sixth grade: Dylan Meza, 56 points
Seventh and eighth grade: James Smith and Kaila Davis, 52 points (tie)
High School: Richard Vince and Ashley Vince, 66 points
Adult: Rita Dunar and Matt Kinney, 68 points (tie)
Seniors: Billy Hall, 52 points
